Jon Joey Telebrico (he/they) is a current third-year student at Claremont McKenna College studying Philosophy and Ethnic Studies. They are interested in philosophy of race and continental philosophy—in particular, how continental philosophy can be necessarily inverted and applied to the lived experiences of ethnic communities. For example, he is interested in the distinction between aesthetics in a traditional sense and oppositional aesthetics as informed by Filipinx revolutionary struggle.
